Clarifications

If this Upgrade Card were discarded instead of a fleet command upgrade at the start of the Ship Phase, the effect of the fleet command upgrade would still trigger for that round.

Upgrade Interactions

This Upgrade Card’s effect cannot be used to discard itself to prevent the effect of a card effect, such as Darth Vader (Boarding Team), from discarding this card, as it only applies when “a friendly ship would discard”, not an upgrade discarding the card.

This Upgrade Card’s effect only applies to discarding cards, not exhausting them, such as Jedi Hostage.
