If one or both of Tel Trevura defense tokens are in the “readied” state, Tel Trevura has Escort.

After Tel Trevura defends against an attack, if Tel Trevura, discarded a defense token, you may recover 3 hull points even if Tel Trevura would of been destroyed.

Tel Trevura Defense tokens can only be discarded if they are spent and discarded in the “spend defense tokens” step by the defender. A defense token cannot be discarded at will and an attacker that spends and discards a defense token do not resolve Tel Trevura card ability.

In regards to Ruthless Strategists and Tel Trevura, which resolves first?

All depends on whom is 1st / 2nd player as the timing for both is the same. “After an attack”

Resolve in order of player,
1st player Ruthless Strategists then 2nd player Tel Trevura.
1st player Tel Trevura then 2nd player Ruthless Strategists.
