Strategic Adviser

This card has not been updated in the Armada Upgrade Card Collection and is no longer legal in competitive events.

This card’s effect can only resolve if the ship it is equipped to is unactivated and could activate this turn.

This card can only be equipped to “Large” ships.

When a ship equipped with Strategic Adviser is chosen to be activated, but before it reveals its Command Dial, you may exhaust this card. If you do, you pass your turn to activate, and your opponent must activate instead. This effect can only be chosen to resolve if the ship it is equipped too could activate.

If Strategic Adviser is resolved, your opponent may also use Strategic Adviser or pass ability to pass their activation as well. Meaning that activation is passed back.

If a ship is equipped with Strategic Adviser and that card is unexhausted, and the ship resolves its activation, you can no longer choose to exhaust and resolve Strategic Adviser for the rest of that round.

When Admiral Raddus deploys a ship, if it is a large ship equipped with Strategic Adviser, you cannot choose to exhaust Strategic Adviser on the Admiral Raddus deployed ship until another ship has activated this round. This also means if your opponent uses Strategic Adviser, the Admiral Raddus deployed ship still cannot activate and another ship must be chosen to activate in that fleet.

If a ship is equipped with both Strategic Adviser and Bail Organa, on the round set by a 2nd player Bail Organa, that ship must activate first, Strategic Adviser would not be able to be used on that round.
