The Corellian Conflict (SWM25)
Card text
Setup: Place obstacles as normal, excluding the station. Then the second player places the station in the setup area beyond distance 1 of all obstacles and beyond distance 5 of both players’ edges of the play area.
Special Rule: When a ship overlaps an obstacle and suffers 1 or more damage or is dealt 1 or more damage cards, the opposing fleet’s owner gains 1 victory token.
End of Round: Starting with the second player and alternating, each player chooses 1 asteroid or debris field that does not have an objective token on it, and moves it to within distance 1-2 of its current location. Then, he places an objective token on that obstacle. An obstacle cannot be moved so that it overlaps a ship, squadron, or other obstacle. At the start of the next round, remove all objective tokens from the play area.

Official rulings
If an obstacle that is overlapped by a ship or squadron is moved, that ship or squadron remains in its current position after the obstacle is moved.

If an obstacle cannot be moved because it would overlap ships, squadrons, or other obstacles, the controlling player can leave it in place or rotate it.

A ship or squadron only resolves an obstacle’s effect when it overlaps that obstacle after moving.

Community rulings
The standard obstacles are used during setup, which are 3 asteroid fields, 2 debris fields, and 1 station. Obstacles are placed as normal (starting with the second player) except for the station. The second player will place the station after the other obstacles are placed. The station needs to be placed in the setup area beyond distance 1 of all obstacles and beyond distance 5 of both players edges.

The special rule:
When a ship overlaps an obstacle, and suffers 1 or more damage or is dealt 1 or more damage cards, then the opposing fleets owner gains 1 victory token worth 15 points.
If a ship overlaps an obstacle but does not suffer any damage (due to a card effect such as Jaina’s Light, Chart Officer or some other ability) then the opposing fleet does not gain a victory token.

At “End of Round”:
Starting with the second player, each player will choose 1 asteroid or debris field (the station cannot be chosen) that does not have an objective token on it, and move that obstacle “within” distance 1-2 of its current location. Then place an objective token on that obstacle.
When an obstacle is moved, it cannot be moved so that it overlaps a ship, squadron, or other obstacles. When the next round starts, remove all objective tokens off the obstacles and the play area.

The obstacles at “end of round”, An obstacle can “move” and remain in the same place, except if its being overlapped by a ship or squadron.
If they are overlapped, they cannot remain overlapped and must move. If it is not possible to move the obstacles to not be overlapped when placed, place it where it will be overlapped by the fewest possible ships and/or squadrons. If that is still not possible, the obstacle remains in place.

What happens if a ship overlaps multiple obstacles? A victory token is claimed from each obstacle, as they are resolved one at a time.
Aug 13, 2020 | Source: KARM
If a ship is “placed” or “deployed” overlapping an obstacle, it does not claim the objective token on that obstacle. As it does not resolve overlapping an obstacle as defined by RRG for “when a ship overlaps an obstacle” as written in the objective text. Overlapping on an obstacle may only occur after a ship executes a maneuver.

Obstacles that have been moved must have an objective token placed on it so that it is not chosen to be moved again this round. After all obstacles are moved, remove all objective tokens. (This would not resolve the card effects of Moralo Eval)

Overlapping the station does not give the opposing fleet a victory token.
