Community rulings
After “Mauler” Mithel ends its movement. Any enemy squadron that is engaged at distance 1 suffers 1 damage. If an enemy squadron is at distance 1 but line of sight is obstructed by an obstacle, ship, or some other means. It does not suffer damage.

When “Mauler” Mithel is “moved” (not “placed” like with being overlapped) by a card ability such as Fighter Coordination Team it may resolve its card effect.

This ability damage cannot be scattered or moved by Biggs Darklighter ability. Any enemy squadron that is AT distance 1 and engaged suffers 1 damage.
