If Magnite Crystal Tractor Beam Array’s effect forces a ship to change its speed and that ship has a faceup Thruster Fissure damage card, that ship does must suffer 1 damage from Thruster Fissure’s effect.

Community rulings
After a ship equipped with Magnite Crystal Tractor Beam Array ends its activation, you can exhaust Magnite Crystal Tractor Beam Array and choose 1 enemy ship that is at distance 1-5. The targeted ships speed is increased or decreased to match the current speed of the Starhawk. While the Starhawk is speed 0, this card cannot be unexhausted in the Status phase.

How does this card interact with Thruster Fissure?
The most common interpretation is that it is similar to Phylon Q7 Tractor Beams. The owner of the ship is changing the speed.
