After performing an attack with “Kickback” against an enemy squadron with Counter, if the player controlling “Kickback” is the first player, “Kickback” can resolve its effect and move before the Counter attack is performed by the squadron owned by the second player.
If the player controlling “Kickback” is the second player, the squadron owned by the first player may perform the Counter attack before “Kickback” can resolve its effect and move.
In either case, if “Kickback” moves out of distance 1 of the enemy squadron, that squadron can still perform the Counter attack.
