Timing
This Upgrade Card may resolve during the “Roll Attack Dice” step and also may resolve after executing a maneuver if the maneuver overlapped an obstacle.
Official rulings
If a ship with this card equipped overlaps more than one obstacle, it can ignore the effects of each obstacle. If the ship chooses to ignore the effects of one obstacle that it overlaps, it must ignore the effects of all obstacles it overlaps.

Jaina’s Light’s ability allows it to ignore the effect of an obstacle it overlaps, however the obstacle is still considered overlapped and will trigger effects that resolve when an obstacle is overlapped (such as Dangerous Territory or Asteroid Tactics).

Jaina’s Light does not ignore the effect of the Dust Cloud obstacle when attacking, as it is not an obstruction. It causes a ship unable to declare an attack if Line of Sight is traced over the obstacle.

If you choose to ignore an obstacles effect with Jaina’s Light during the objective Navigational Hazards then the opposing fleet cannot claim a victory token.
