Hondo Ohnaka (Officer)

If the player resolving Hondo Ohnaka (Officer)’s effect has more than one opponent, that player chooses which opponent places the remaining two command tokens.

When resolving this card’s effect, all four ships do not need to be different from each other, only that each player chooses “2 different ships” when resolving their part of the effect of Hondo Ohnaka (Officer).

When resolving this card’s effect, if a command token would be assigned to a ship that already has a number of command tokens equal to its command value, the player that controls that ship decides whether to accept the placed token by discarding a command token already assigned to that ship, or that player may choose to discard the newly placed token and not assign it to their ship.

When resolving this card’s effect, both players must assign 2 command tokens to 2 different ships, even if they must assign tokens to enemy ships to do so.

Your opponent can assign command tokens to ships that you assigned tokens to.

At the start of the ship phase, a ship equipped with Hondo Ohnaka may choose to discard that card. If you do, you choose 2 different command tokens and place them on 2 different ships.

Then your opponent chooses 2 different command tokens that you did not choose and also places them on 2 different ships.

The tokens must be assigned to a ship, even if you must assign it to an enemy ship (For example you only have 1 ship in the play area).

Your opponent can assign a token to a ship that was already given a token by you.

When assigning a token to a ship, if a ship already holds its maximum number of command tokens according to its command value, the player that controls that ship may decide to either replace a current command token with that assigned token, or to discard the command token that was assigned. Hondo Ohnakas ability does not force a player to discard a token to accept a token assigned to that ship.

You can assign a token from Hondo Ohnaka to a ship that already has the same token already. It is then immediately discarded, unless that ship can hold multiple command tokens of the same type.

If Hondo Ohnaka is used, if Tantive IV is selected to receive a token, it may pass the token to be gained.
