Garm Bel Iblis

Tokens placed on this card belong to it and are not assigned to the ship this card is equipped to.

A ship cannot have more than one copy of the same command token.

Each ship at the start of the rounds matching the tokens on this card, before the command phase, can choose to gain command tokens equal to its command value, which is printed on the ships card. When gaining these tokens, a ship can only have one token for each command type (Navigation, Concentrate Fire, Engineering, or Squadron) and only as many tokens equal to its printed command value.

This means that Garm Bel Iblis resolves its ability before you choose to resolve Fleet Commands.

Garm Bel Iblis is unable to assign command tokens to ships with the Life Support Failure critical card.

Garm Bel Iblis and Phoenix Home, This title does NOT increase that ships command value, which is 2. It allows it to be assigned up to 4 command tokens (instead of 2).

However Garm Bel Iblis only allows ships to gain command tokens equal to its command value. Thus Phoenix Home would not be granted 4 command tokens at the start of round 1, only 2. However at the start of round 5, if Phoenix Home does already have command tokens saved, Garm would be able to give Phoenix Home to 2 command tokens.

At the start of a round when Garm Bel Iblis assigns command tokens, Tantive IV before it gains its command token, if Phoenix Home is at distance 1-5, can gain that token instead.
