If the first player cannot deploy a chosen ship (including a huge ship such as the SSD) on their odd numbered deployment within the ambush zone, due to overlapping other ships or obstacles, the player must deploy that ship so that it fits as much as possible in the ambush zone, without overlapping obstacles, even if part of the ship ends up outside the ambush zone.
