“Dutch” Vander

A squadron is considered either activated or unactivated based on its activation slider. A squadron that was activated and then has its activation slider toggled with Adar Tallon’s ability is no longer considered activated for effects such as “Dutch” Vander’s ability.

If an unactivated squadron that is within distance 1-3 of TI-99 is attacked by “Dutch” Vander and suffers at least 1 damage, that squadron may still perform a Counter attack before its activation slider is toggled to the activated side.

If “Dutch” Vander is attacking and the defender does not suffer damage but another enemy squadron does (due to resolving an effect such as Biggs Darklighter), “Dutch” Vander’s effect does not toggle the defender’s activation slider.

After “Dutch” Vander attacks a squadron, if it suffered 1 damage from that attack, toggle its activation slider to the activated side. If the squadron was already activated, it suffers 1 damage.

If “Dutch” Vander attacks a squadron but the squadron attacked does not suffer damage from that attack. Do not resolve “Dutch” Vander card ability. Even if another enemy squadron suffered damage, due to another effect such as Biggs Darklighter card ability.
