When a ship equipped with Disposable Capacitors activates, before revealing its command dial, that ship may discard Disposable Capacitors. If discarded, any blue dice in that ships battery armament (anti-ship) may be used at close-long range until the end of the round.

This card does not work on anti-squadron attacks.

The Disposable Capacitors card effect ends when “End of Round” is reached. Meaning any blue dice cannot be used at long range on objective tokens to claim them. Also it can only be used when attacking ships.
