During your activation, instead of attacking, you may perform an attack against each enemy ship at distance 1-2. These attacks ignore engagement.

AI AI: Anti-Squadron 1.(While attacking a squadron, if you are activated by a Squadron command, you may add 1 die to your attack pool of a color that is already in your attack pool.)

Assault Assault. (While attacking a ship, you may spend 1 die with a Hit icon. If you do, the defender gains 1 raid token of your choice.)

This Squadron’s ability applies during its activation instead of attacking, and can apply before or after movement.

Clarifications

Standard line of sight and obstruction rulings apply to attacks initiated from this Squadron’s ability.

Although this Squadron grants the ability to attack ships at distance 1-2, in order to resolve the attack, this Squadron must have range and line of sight to the chosen hull zone (which must be at distance 1-2). If a ship is within distance 1-2, but does not have a targetable hull zone, then the attack on that ship is canceled.

Obstacle Interactions

This Squadron’s ability may target Armed and Unarmed Stations if they are at distance 1-2.

Upgrade Interactions

If a ship would gain counter through an effect such as Quad Laser Turrets, when resolving this Squadron’s ability against that ship, the ship may perform a counter attack targeting this Squadron.

If this Squadron would gain adept through an effect, all attacks made through its ability will resolve with adept.
