While a friendly ship is attacking a ship, and it is at distance 1-5 of a friendly ship equipped with Darth Vader (Officer) (including the ship it is equipped too) you may discard a Commander or Officer card (Expect Darth Vader) equipped to that ship. If you do, you may reroll any die in its attack pool.
