Timing

This Upgrade Card immediately resolves the first part after the ship is deployed.

After a ship equipped with Concord deploys, you may gain 1 Salvo defense token. When Concord is defending, in the “Spend Defense Tokens” step, you can spend 1 defense token. Even if the ship is at speed 0.

If Concord deploys from being set aside due to some effect, it’s card effect will resolve, since it is “after you deploy”.

In regards to Commander Kyrsta Agate and Concord, Concord allows 1 defense token to be “spent” at speed 0. This does not allow Commander Kyrsta Agate to “discard” at token while at speed 0.

Concord does not ignore the Faulty Countermeasures faceup damage card when at speed 0.
