During your activation, instead of attacking you may choose 1 friendly squadron at distance 1-2. That squadron may perform an attack (even if it has already activated).

If a ship equipped with Flight Controllers activates Colonel Jendon, and Colonel Jendon uses his ability to cause another friendly squadron to perform an attack, that squadron’s armament is not increased by this card’s effect.

Community rulings

During Colonel Jendons activation, instead of attacking, it may choose 1 friendly squadron at distance 1-2 of Colonel Jendon. If you choose that friendly squadron, it may perform an attack regardless if the squadron is activated or unactivated and does not activate the chosen squadron. Colonel Jendon can choose a friendly squadron for it to attack even if Colonel Jendon is not engaged by an enemy squadron or is unable to perform an attack due to some other reason.

A squadron chosen to attack by Colonel Jendon does not gain the benefit of Flight Controllers.

When activated by a squadron command, Colonel Jendon can utilize its card ability before or after moving.

Colonel Jendon is not Rogue, if not activated by a squadron command, Colonel Jendon can only move OR attack. Colonel Jendon cannot move and then utilize its ability or vice versa.
