If you are deployed beyond distance 2 of all friendly ships, suffer 2 damage.
While attacking a squadron, if you have 5 or fewer hull points remaining, each of your red icons adds 1 to the damage total.
Adept 2.(While attacking, you may reroll up to 2 dice.)
Rogue. (You can move and attack during the Squadron Phase.)
Scout. (While deploying fleets, you can be placed outside of deployment zones and do not need to be at distance 1-2 of a friendly ship, but must be placed beyond distance 1-5 of enemy ships or squadrons.

Timing
The deployment condition is checked when this Squadron is deployed.
The damage bonus from the red hit icons is applied during the Resolve Attack Effects step of a squadron attack against another squadron.
Clarifications
If this Squadron has exactly 5 hull remaining, this Squadron’s ability triggers. If an effect would heal this Squadron above 5 hull, it may no longer resolve its second ability.
Objective Interactions
If this Squadron is deployed through an effect such as Fleet Ambush or Fighter Ambush, if it is deployed beyond distance 2 of all friendly ships, it must suffer 2 damage.
Counter & Salvo Interactions
This Squadron’s ability is limited to red dice, and cannot trigger during a Counter attack initiated from this squadron unless another effect grants red dice in a Counter attack.
If this Squadron attacks a squadron while above 5 health, and receives damage from a Counter attack putting it below 5 health, the damage from red hit icons are not retroactively applied to the previous attack, as the Counter attack happens after the Resolve Damage step.
