Timing

After a ship equipped with Amity deploys, you may gain 1 Evade defense token, and when Amity is overlapped by an enemy ship, you may choose to deal 1 additional facedown damage card to both ships.

If Amity deploys from being set aside due to some effect, it’s card effect will resolve, since it is “after you deploy”.

In regards to Hardened Bulkheads and Amity:
The Hardened Bulkheads ability does not reduce the number of damage cards dealt from the Amity card effect.
