Timing
This Upgrade Card’s effect occurs before the Determine Course step.
Clarifications
If a friendly ship does not have any native “-” yaw values in its navigation chart, it cannot resolve this Upgrade Card’s effect.
If a ship’s yaw effect is reduced by a card effect or damage card during the Determine Course step, this Upgrade Card’s effect cannot be used to increase the yaw effect in that timestep. This is different than General Madine, who resolves during the Determine Course step, not before the Determine Course step.
This Upgrade Card’s effect may apply to any maneuvers executed during a ship’s activation, including a second maneuver granted by Engine Techs or Rift Assault.
